Interesting facts
"Finist" is a unique, naturally pure vodka without additives and flavor enhancers. The vodka consists only of high-quality "Lux" class spirit and pure drinking water. The blends are created each time from different spirits based on various raw materials — rye, wheat, barley, each of which has a unique organoleptic profile. Instead of the usual carbon filtration, a unique Silver Horn technology is used, which makes the vodka's taste extremely smooth without disrupting its natural structure. For each blend, an individual processing mode is selected, which enhances the natural characteristics of the flavor and aroma palette. The producers categorically oppose anything that could spoil the taste of "Finist" vodka, so it was decided to abandon carbon filtration, oxygen saturation, and aging. Immediately after processing on the Silver Horn installation, the vodka is bottled in glass bottles. The cork is made from bio-materials to preserve the original taste of the product. All this guarantees the highest quality of the product, made based on centuries of experience using modern technologies. The inspiration for the original design was the house "with animals" on Chistoprudny Boulevard in Moscow. "Most producers aim for uniform quality across all blends. This approach has its truth, but it also has consequences. The vodka ends up with an "artificial" taste and aroma due to various technological techniques. We adhere to different principles — only natural, pure taste, born naturally" — Igor Sergienko, master technologist and author of the Silver Horn technology.
About the Manufacturer
Today, there are very few enterprises that can compare in experience and venerable age with OAO "Alkon", founded in 1897. Its owner was the famous merchant I.A. Korsakov, who realized that Novgorod craftsmen possessed ancient recipes and long-standing traditions in the production of strong drinks, and decided to build a distillery in Novgorod. The history of the city and the history of the "Alkon" plant are closely intertwined. From 1914, its building housed a hospital for the wounded, then alcohol warehouses. The enterprise could return to its main activity only in 1924, releasing a new vodka "Russian Bitter", the recipe of which was kept secret by the Ministry of State Security of the USSR. After that, the "Alkon" plant experienced a true flourishing: its assortment expanded, the distribution network grew, and the popularity of its products increased. During World War II, the plant provided assistance to the front and suffered enormous losses due to bombings. Gradually recovering, "Alkon" managed to reach a higher level of production, which today amounts to over 3 million decaliters per year, offering consumers about 50 product names. The plant is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment from leading European firms, including modern purification systems, 6 bottling lines for finished products, and high-precision laboratory equipment. Just in recent years, OAO "Alkon" has won 100 medals (of which 62 are gold), 13 Honorary Diplomas, 4 Grand Prix, and 4 Platinum Quality Marks.
