Interesting facts
"Mucho Mas" Extra Dry — an elegant white sparkling dry wine made from a blend of Chardonnay and Viura grapes grown in several wine regions of Spain. The harvest is conducted separately for each variety at the moment of optimal berry ripeness, and the fruits undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks at the winery. Secondary fermentation is carried out using the Charmat method, with part of the must from Chardonnay undergoing fermentation in new barrels made of French and American oak. The sparkling wine is aged on the lees for 6-12 weeks. The wine is excellent as an aperitif and pairs well with appetizers, lean fish, seafood, as well as Asian and Eastern cuisine dishes.
About the Manufacturer
Felix Solis Avantis is a well-known wine holding in Spain, ranking among the top three largest wine producers in the country. The holding was founded in the 1950s by Felix Solis Fernandez. Initially, wine was produced in Madrid and Valdepeñas. In the 1960s, wines began to be sold not only in Italy but also exported to countries such as Andorra and Africa. In the 1970s, the company was led by Felix's sons—Pedro, Juan-Antonio, Manuel, and Felix, who built another winery in the Valdepeñas region. In 2000, the company acquired estates in the most renowned wine regions: Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Valdepeñas, and La Mancha. Today, the holding includes two independent divisions: Felix Solis and Pagos del Rey, which export their wines to over 80 countries worldwide and have commercial centers in the USA, UK, Japan, Germany, France, and the Czech Republic. In 1998, the holding established wine production in Shanghai, where wines produced in Spain are aged and bottled.
