Today, Cheval Quancard owns the best lands and Chateaux in Bordeaux, and their slogan is: "All Bordeaux wines in their diversity". Here, great respect is given to the traditions of winemaking, while also relying on the results of modern research in vine cultivation. As a result of this approach, excellent wines are born, the high quality of which has been repeatedly recognized with prestigious awards. Pierre Quancard's two sons inherited their father's love for winemaking. Eugène traveled the world to learn new technologies and bring fresh ideas to the family business, while his brother Jean supported the winery created by their father. Since 1968, the family has actively expanded its land holdings. Then the company "Cheval Quancard" was managed by Eugène's grandson — Roland. In 2002, he implemented a quality policy and organized an effective marketing department. Facing succession issues, Cheval Quancard left the family that created it nearly 180 years ago. The historic trading house Cheval Quancard was purchased on July 29, 2022, by the family group Larraque Vins International (LVI), based in Saint-André-de-Cubzac.
