Interesting facts
El Pillo is a mischievous young man attributed with the most astonishing stories and pranks. One moonless September night, during the height of the harvest, he stole explosives from a construction tunnel. El Pillo wanted to thank the farmers for their work by lighting up the sky. Using cardboard tubes, he gathered 101 "rockets" and launched them from the highest point at midnight, after the bells rang. The farmers long remembered how the night darkness shattered into pieces from the bright flashes of light: for the first time, they saw the beauty and nighttime splendor of their vineyards. The wines from the El Pillo line pay homage to this event. Rebeldes translates from Spanish as "rebels". Wines from the Toro appellation have a long history dating back to Roman settlements. In the Middle Ages, local wines enjoyed royal privileges, allowing them to be sold exclusively in towns and villages. It is said that even Christopher Columbus took wines from Toro on his expeditions to America. In 1987, Toro received Denominacion de Origen status, which is equivalent to the French AOC and Italian DOC.

Felix Solis Avantis is a well-known wine holding in Spain, ranking among the top three wine producers in the country. The holding was founded in the 1950s by Felix Solis Fernandez. Initially, wine was produced in Madrid and Valdepeñas. In the 1960s, wines began to be sold not only in Italy but also exported to countries such as Andorra and Africa.
