About the Manufacturer
The producer's goal with each vintage is to create a wine that reflects the Jericho Canyon vineyard. In pursuit of maximum flavor, they work closely with their winemakers to determine the optimal harvest time. Due to their hillside location in the canyon, the grapes typically ripen later than those from the valley floor. This means they often leave the fruit hanging until late October or early November. While this increases stress for the grapes, it gives them additional time to develop the flavors that distinguish Jericho Canyon Vineyard wines.
