Montelvini, Prosecco Treviso Brut is a clean, fresh, stylish, and versatile sparkling wine, the perfect drink for parties and gatherings with friends. The characteristic lightness of the wine's taste is achieved through a natural fermentation process. The grapes for this cuvée ripen at the end of September. The selected grapes are gently pressed, the resulting must is settled at low temperatures, and fermentation occurs using special yeasts at a controlled temperature of 18-19 °C. After fermentation, the wine is filtered and aged on the lees for about 3 months. It then undergoes secondary fermentation in an autoclave at a temperature of 16 °C with the addition of sugar and yeast. After bottling, the sparkling wine "rests" in bottles for 4-6 weeks before sale.
About the Manufacturer
Since 1881, the history of the Treviso area has been inextricably linked to the history of the Serena family, the founders of the "Montelvini" winery. From father to son, the work and passion for their craft have passed through five generations. However, the current president of "Montelvini", Armando Serena, has deviated from the rules of the family business and built a new winery on a plot of land in Venegazzù. It is at this winery that wines have been produced that have become a benchmark for Italian wines. Today, "Montelvini" wines are distinguished by their unique style, combining winemaking traditions with innovations, as well as the highest quality.
