Cielo e Terra 3 Passo Bianco

Cielo e Terra, "3 Passo" Bianco is a semi-dry white wine made from a blend of two grape varieties — Chardonnay and Fiano. The berries grow on the company's vineyards with limestone-clay soils. After harvesting, the grapes are sent to the winery, where they undergo pressing followed by fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine is aged for a short time in steel tanks. The company Cielo E Terra was founded in 1908, and its name comes from the word for earth (terra) and the surname of the founders — the Cielo family. In 1930, thanks to Pietro Cielo, the company began to expand and improve production, and in 1962, new vineyards were created, and production increased. Today, the winery is led by representatives of the fourth generation, brothers Luca and Pierpaolo Cielo. Nowadays, the company is one of the largest producers in the Veneto region, owning about 300 hectares of land. The products occupy the second place in distribution. Additionally, Cielo E Terra is part of the largest group of Italian winemakers — Gruppo Cantine Colli Berici, which owns about 4000 hectares of vineyards, most of the company's wines are produced here.
