Interesting facts
Gerardo Cesari, Pinot Grigio delle Venezie is a bright, juicy, piquant, bold wine with abundant fruit notes in its flavor and aroma. It is very popular in Italy and enjoys great success in local wine markets. The grapes for this wine are grown in the Veneto, Friuli, and Trentino regions. The harvest is carried out strictly in the first 10 days of September. After gentle pressing, the grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. In early spring, the wine is bottled and aged for at least 2 months in the company's cellars. Thanks to the skill of the winemakers and the special production technology, an exquisite white wine with a special charm and vitality is born.
About the Manufacturer
The Italian company Gerardo Cesari is a symbol of devotion to centuries-old winemaking traditions, as well as professionalism, hard work, and the dedication of a number of generations of winemakers. Founded in 1936 in Lombardy, the company, led by Gerardo Cesari, set out to produce wines capable of competing with the best Italian and international red wines. Thus began the success story of Cesari wines worldwide. The first deliveries of wines to foreign markets were made in 1975. At that time, 100 bottles were exported to New York and 200 bottles of Amarone wine to San Francisco. These first small steps were followed by more confident ones. Thanks to the initiative and enthusiasm of Franco Cesari, the son of the company's founder, in the early 1970s, Amarone wine was one of the first to reach all five continents. Thus, Franco's dream came true—to create a great Amarone capable of making a worthy name for itself throughout the world.
