Interesting facts
"Conde Jose" Reserva Privada Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant dry red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the vineyards of the company in the Central Valley of Chile. The Central Valley of Chile is the cradle of the culture and traditions of the entire country, as well as a leading wine-producing region that produces rich wines with a distinctive character. The ideal local climate allows for optimal ripeness and quality of the harvested grapes. After harvesting, which occurs at the moment of optimal berry ripeness, the grapes undergo traditional vinification at controlled temperatures. The wine is then aged for an extended period in American oak barrels, enriching the taste and aroma with hints of vanilla, spices, and tobacco.
About the Manufacturer
In 1996, Bernard Dore convinced his friends, Jean-Pierre Cayard and Claude Florence, to realize a crazy idea – to join him in creating a winery in Apalta, Chile. Thus, the company Vina las Ninas (Vina Del Nuevo Mundo) was born. The women from three families soon fell in love with the lands of the Colchagua Valley, located just two hours south of Santiago, the capital of the country. They took on the work that lasted about three years… It was the women of the Dore, Cayard, and Florence families who planted 160 hectares of land with Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache Noir, Merlot, and Chardonnay vines, while the famous Chilean architect Matias Klotz designed and built the winery. Environmental sustainability is a key focus in the company's development.
