Founded in 1953, the Mauro Molino winery is located near the ancient abbey of San Martino di Marcenasco in the tiny village of Annunziata. Today, the company owns two of the most famous crus — Vigna Conca and Vigna Gancia, where monks from the monastery have been cultivating grapes since 1200. The Molino family also owns vineyards in Gallinotto and Gattere, where grapes for traditional Italian Barolo and Barbera wines are grown. After the death of Giuseppe Molino in 1978, his son Mauro Molino took over the company, having received enology education at a prestigious institute in Alba. Thanks to the rich experience gained over years of study and work in various estates in Northern Italy, he elevated the quality of the company's wines to a new, higher level. The company's philosophy is based on the skillful combination of the most modern advancements in winemaking and traditional techniques. As a result of this approach, the company's wines have gained international recognition in just a few years and are now supplied to over thirty countries worldwide.
