Interesting facts
"Demuerte" Classic is one of the most modern and original wines produced in the municipality of Yecla, part of the province of Murcia. The wine blend consists of Monastrell and Syrah grapes, harvested from old vines grown in harsh conditions at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level, predominantly on calcareous soil with high permeability. The harvest is done by hand, selecting only large berries of the best quality for wine production. Fermentation and prolonged maceration of the must take place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 24 ºC. For malolactic fermentation and subsequent aging for at least 9-10 months, French oak barrels from Allier are used.
