About the Manufacturer
The Franco winery was founded by Antonio Franco in 1919 in the small town of Valdobbiadene. Remaining a family business and passing through three generations of winemakers, Nino Franco is the oldest in the region. Under the guidance of Nino — Antonio's son, the estate significantly expanded. However, it was Primo Franco — the current owner of the winery and Nino's son — who made the wines under the Nino Franco name popular not only in Italy but far beyond. Primo graduated from the enology school in Conegliano in 1967, and in 1982 took over the management of the estate. The result of his work at the Nino Franco winery is quality products that fully reflect the potential of the Valdobbiadene region. Additionally, Primo is one of the pioneers of Prosecco sparkling wine production. His wines are the best in the region, consistently receiving top marks from wine critics and experts.
