Interesting facts
Valdo, "Aquarius" Rose Brut is a rosé sparkling wine inspired by the depths of the sea, the result of a collaboration between the historic Venetian winery Valdo and New York designer Sesi Johnson. The blend is a harmonious mix of Glera grapes from the Veneto region and the Sicilian variety Nerello Mascalese, grown on the slopes of Etna, resulting in a cuvée that boasts the perfect balance between freshness and complexity, a bright fruity aroma, and a beautiful play of tiny bubbles. After careful sorting and gentle pressing, fermentation is carried out at controlled temperatures. Secondary fermentation is conducted using the Charmat method in sealed autoclaves and lasts for 3 months. Before release, the sparkling wine spends some time in bottles. The result is a unique rosé wine that impresses with its light, fruity taste and invigorating freshness. To enjoy the taste of the sparkling wine, it should be served at a temperature of 6-7 °C. It is best to gradually chill the bottle, avoiding sudden temperature changes, as well as prolonged storage in the refrigerator. For serving, a long-stemmed glass is ideal, as it maintains the temperature of the drink and allows for a better appreciation of the aroma and perlage of the sparkling wine.
