About the Manufacturer
The history of Torre Fornello dates back to the Middle Ages, but its winemaking turning point occurred in 1998 when Enrico Sgorbati founded this beautiful winery in the western part of Emilia-Romagna, named after the old ovens present in the area. On 13 hectares of vineyards, the company works with utmost attention to natural balance, which in recent years has led to organic certification for some plots. The harvested grapes are vinified in-house, with careful monitoring of all stages. For all these reasons, Torre Fornello wines are a direct expression of the Piacenza area, wines with bright individuality, complex, elegant, enveloping, and balanced.
