Mumm "Olympe" was released in 2020, paying tribute to athlete Usain Bolt and his Olympic medals. Featured at all the best parties, "Olympe" champagne combines delightful sweetness, vibrant fruitiness, and the signature freshness of the Mumm House. The avant-garde design of the champagne is the result of the collaboration between the cellar master and designer Ross Lovegrove, merging optimal enological form with the traditional red ribbon embossed into the glass. The Legion of Honor ribbon symbolizes the unparalleled quality of G.H. Mumm's products and perfectly aligns with Georges Mumm's motto: "Only the best". Breaking traditional conventions, the bottle has no label: the eagle emblem and the Champagne House are printed in gold directly on the glass. Another striking feature of the design is the shape of the bottle, which requires a series of innovations in the traditional champagne production process. The blend of "Olympe" champagne is traditionally a tribute to the Pinot Noir grape, which dominates the composition of the champagne and symbolizes the Mumm House. The strength and structure given to the wine by Pinot Noir is complemented by Pinot Meunier (for lightness and fruitiness) and Chardonnay, which brings mineral notes and elegance to the blend. Before being released for sale, the champagne is aged in cellars for at least 20 months.
