Interesting facts
"Cicala Rose" is a refreshing rosé wine with an intense aroma and enticing, juicy flavor. The wine is made from hand-harvested Negroamaro grapes collected in September from 30-35-year-old vines in the Salento area. The loose soils of the vineyards are rich in calcium. Vinification and aging in steel tanks preserve the bright varietal aroma and amazing freshness of the taste. This wine, reminiscent of sunset, is best enjoyed chilled on a sunny summer day. The Felline winery is an important part of the "Racemi Academy" project created by Gregorio Perrotti. The estate plays a leading role in the revival of the Primitivo di Manduria variety and the production of fine wines from it. The winery is named after the ancient region of Felline near Manduria on the Ionian Sea, where, according to legend, St. Peter, who preached Christianity, landed in 45 AD on his way to Rome.
