Interesting facts
Cerasuolo d`Abruzzo DOC is the only rosé wine from Tenuta Antonini, pleasantly smooth and fruity. This versatile wine pairs well with both meat and fish, enhancing their flavors without creating a sense of heaviness. The name comes from the Latin word "cerasum," meaning cherry, and indicates the wine's characteristic color. This wine is, in the best sense of the word, a wine of peasant tradition, which was served to distinguished guests, as it was more challenging to produce than red wine at a time when cellar technology did not yet exist. With a remarkable base flavor, Cerasuolo has excellent gastronomic potential and can delight many with its rounded yet fresh aroma. Awards: Mundus Vini Silver.
About the Manufacturer
Tenuta Antonini is the result of a long dream that lasted 100 years and became a reality thanks to four generations of men who always firmly believed in the value of the land and its products, as well as the beauty of the region. The soils of the Teramo hills have been ideal for grape growing since ancient times. The vineyards have the best conditions for cultivation, as they are surrounded by the Adriatic Sea to the east and Gran Sasso to the west. A wide range of temperatures during the day and night and good ventilation provide the best conditions for healthy grapes and concentration of aromatic compounds in the grapes. These characteristics and the intensity of aromas can be felt in the wines produced by Antonini.
