Interesting facts
The red dry wine "Austrian Cherry" is made from Zweigelt grapes, which were developed by Franz Zweigelt by crossing the varieties St. Laurent and Blaufränkisch. The grape is deservedly popular in Austria, as it allows for the production of wines with expressive individuality. The grapes for "Austrian Cherry" undergo fermentation in stainless steel containers for 26 days at controlled temperatures. Before bottling, 30% of the wine is aged in oak barrels, while 70% is aged in stainless steel tanks.
