About the Manufacturer
The Muller family began viticulture in Krutstetten in 1936 with only 3 hectares of vineyards. Today, the third generation of the family manages 90 hectares of beautiful vineyards, stretching from the southern Kremstal valley around the Göttweiger mountain to the Danube in the Wachau. The vineyards are cultivated and maintained with great love and personal commitment by each family member. The leading varieties in the Kremstal valley are Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, occupying 50 hectares. The estate also grows white varieties such as Yellow Muscat, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Weissburgunder. Among the red varieties, Zweigelt plays the leading role, occupying 10 hectares, along with St. Laurent, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The philosophy of the Müller winery is to work in harmony with nature, taking into account the special conditions of individual terroirs to get the best from the different vineyards. To ensure the vineyards thrive in accordance with high quality standards, the estate has created its own nursery where the best vine stocks are grown.
