Interesting facts
Antonutti, Sauvignon is a fresh, bright dry white wine made from aromatic Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in the Friuli Grave area. The soils of the vineyards are rich in alluvial deposits, ensuring the future wine's freshness. After harvesting, the berries undergo gentle pressing, and the must is fermented with selected yeasts and aged on fine lees in stainless steel containers for 6 months. After bottling, the wine continues to mature in bottles. The wine has a storage potential of 3-4 years. The freshness and fruitiness of the wine inspired the company's designers to choose the color scheme for the label. As a result, Antonutti, Sauvignon features a yellow label that sets the tone and embodies the brightness of this Italian wine. The 2023 vintage was awarded a silver medal at the "Concours Mondial du Sauvignon, 2024", confirming its high quality and international recognition.
About the Manufacturer
A nearly century-long history and the dedicated work of many generations form the foundation of Antonutti's success. The enterprise is located in the heart of Friuli Grave, and today it is led by Adriana Antonutti, who has dedicated over 30 years of her life to the craft of winemaking. Thanks to an unwavering belief in the power of the land, the founders of Antonutti were convinced that even a remote location from renowned wine regions would not negatively impact their success. As a result, years of hard work bore fruit, and Antonutti wines celebrate the Friuli Grave appellation. The wines are created from both traditional local varieties and globally popular grape varieties. The white wines enchant with their freshness and elegance. Recently, the company has also begun cultivating red grape varieties, having acquired plots in Clauiano. The company's products have received high ratings from critics and awards at wine competitions, including Vini d'Italia, Bibenda, Wine Surf, and Annuario dei Migliori Vini Italiani.
