Interesting facts
Extreme vineyards in Soria, between the towns of Alcubilla and Villalvaro, with rich winemaking traditions. These plots are located at an altitude of over 950 meters above sea level, near the sources of the Duero River, close to Urbión, a mountain that significantly influences the local climate. The vineyards are planted on sandy soils and shallow gravel, resting on iron-rich clay. These are old, low-yielding vines, surrounded by wooded areas. Manual night harvest from September 29 to October 18. Fermentation and gentle maceration in containers of 15,000 kg at a temperature of 18º C for two weeks. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels of various sizes, from 225-liter barrels to 600-liter ones.
