Interesting facts
"Jameson" Crested is a tribute to the first Jameson whiskey bottled at the distillery on Bow Street in 1963. It was then that the Jameson company took full control of production, ensuring the quality of "every drop" of its whiskey. Prior to this, whiskey was sold in barrels, and often smugglers diluted the precious whiskey to increase their margins, risking tarnishing the long-standing reputation for quality of Jameson drinks. "Jameson" Crested is a vibrant blend of a high proportion of pot still whiskey and grain whiskey. Aging in sherry casks fills this smooth, triple-distilled whiskey with unmistakable sherry notes, hints of fruit, spices, and chocolate.
About the Manufacturer
Irish whiskey "Jameson" is the smoothest in the world, thanks to the innovative approach of the company's founder, John Jameson. Unlike the Scots, who have never been afraid to experiment in whiskey production, the Irish have always sought to adhere to ancient traditions in the making of this national drink. However, the family motto of the Jameson family, Sine Metu (Without Fear), literally compelled them to deviate from tradition, resulting in the remarkable whiskey of impeccable quality that is Jameson. Today, it holds the top position in the world among other Irish whiskeys. This peak was achieved by the company as early as the late 19th century, but even today, Jameson whiskey confidently maintains its leading position.
