"Fernway" Sauvignon Blanc is a New Zealand white dry wine made from selected Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in the Nelson region. Nelson is a small, lesser-known wine region in the northern part of New Zealand's South Island. Surrounded on three sides by mountains, it has a unique mesoclimate that is ideal for aromatic grape varieties. The harvest is collected in the cool early morning or night hours to preserve the freshness of the berries. The juice obtained after gentle pressing is fermented in steel tanks at low temperatures.
About the Manufacturer
Andrew Bailey, an eccentric and unpredictable resident of New Zealand, decided to establish his winery. The Marlborough region is known for its Misty Coves, so Andrew knew the name of his future winery from the start. Misty Cove is a relatively young winery with vineyards featuring unique soils and microclimates. One of them is a vineyard located in the most remote part of Marlborough, in Waitaria Bay. It can only be reached by boat. Every stage of production, from harvesting to bottling, is strictly controlled by Andrew Bailey himself. Today, Misty Cove's products are conquering new horizons, impressing many consumers with their characteristics.
