Interesting facts
"Little Beauty" is a line of exclusive wines from the Waihopai Valley that fully reveal New Zealand traditions. In English, "little beauty" means "little beauty". This is how New Zealanders refer to the smallest bird in the world, the Kiwi, which is a symbol of New Zealand. The "Little Beauty" wines are produced in very limited quantities, only 0.00055% of the annual production volume of all wines in the world. "Little Beauty" Pinot Gris is an exquisite white wine that captivates even the heart of the most discerning consumer at first glance. It is made from Pinot Gris grapes grown on well-drained rocky soils with clay and silt content. The harvest is conducted manually when the berries reach full ripeness. At the winery, the berries undergo gentle pressing followed by fermentation, which is carried out at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the "Little Beauty" Pinot Gris is aged for several months on fine lees in tanks.
About the Manufacturer
Vinultra is a relatively young company, established in 2008 in New Zealand, in the Waihopai Valley. Hemi Duns and Fleur McCree decided to acquire land for vineyards in 2002. A few years after planting the vines, they began supplying selected grapes to other wineries in the region. When the vines reached a certain maturity, and the fruits achieved the desired density and balance, Hemi, Fleur, and Evelyn Fraser (one of New Zealand's most experienced winemakers) began the meticulous work of producing their own wines. These three charming women, using their winemaking experience, managed to bring the company's wines to the global market, winning the hearts of many connoisseurs in various countries. Today, Vinultra has captured markets in many countries around the world, and their products are popular in many renowned restaurants and bars.
