About the Manufacturer
Today, Campari Group owns 45 beverage brands. The most well-known and beloved brands among consumers include the aperitif "Aperol", the bitter "Campari", the vermouth "Cinzano", the whisky "Glen Grant", the sparkling wine "Mondoro", and the ouzo "Ouzo 12". The company is considered a leader in alcohol production in Italy and Brazil. "Cinzano ranks" first or among the top in sales volume among vermouths. Since 1757, Cinzano vermouth has been produced in the capital of the Italian Piedmont — Turin. By 1876, the Cinzano family became suppliers of wine to the Savoy royal court, and prior to that, their products had twice been awarded gold medals at international wine exhibitions. The success of the company's flagship product led to the establishment of subsidiaries in France and Argentina. The Cinzano company became a public joint-stock company. This drink is a cocktail of quality white wine (sometimes with the addition of red), sugar, and a spirit infusion with a combination of spices and herbs. The exact recipe has been kept secret for centuries, but it is known that juniper and coriander, cloves, nutmeg, and of course, wormwood — an essential ingredient in all vermouths — are used in the production of Cinzano.
