Interesting facts

Domaine de la Madone, Picpoul de Pinet AOP is a refreshing, harmonious dry white wine made from the Picpoul grape variety, grown in the vineyards of the Languedoc-Roussillon appellation. The harvest takes place when the berries reach optimal ripeness. The must is vinified using the traditional method for white wines in stainless steel tanks with strict temperature control. The wine makes an ideal accompaniment to Mediterranean dishes, white meat, fish, and cheeses.

About the Manufacturer

Les Vignobles Montagnac, located in the historic heart of Languedoc, has been producing wine since 1937. However, local wines were exported as far back as Ancient Rome, as evidenced by the MAF stamp found on amphorae at the Villa Lupian, whose ancient mosaics are displayed in the museum located in the heart of the Montagnac vineyards. Five hundred winegrowers from 8 municipalities cultivate 2,000 hectares of vineyards. The company's vineyards extend south of Montpellier, on the hillsides overlooking the Hérault valley and the Mediterranean coast, bordering the Étang de Thau to the south, famous for its exquisite oysters, and the deep limestone reliefs to the north, through which the Hérault river flows through deep gorges.
