Domaine Viticole de la Ville de Colmar Pinot Blanc

Domaine Viticole de la Ville de Colmar has a particularly privileged position in the heart of Alsace winemaking, in the capital of Alsatian wines — the city of Colmar. Founded in 1895 by the famous ampelographer Cretien Oberlin, today the winery is managed by Jean-Rémy Heffelin and his son Nicolas. Together they create remarkable wines from exceptional vineyards, treating each original terroir with great respect. The Heffelin family is considered unique in Alsace, being the only family with grape growers and winemakers in every generation since 1560. Les Grands Chais de France (GCF) is a group of companies founded in Petersbach in 1979 by Joseph Helfrich. The main location of the companies is Vosges du Nord (in southern France). Today, Les Grands Chais de France is a large and successful company engaged in the production of quality French wine, primarily aimed at export (over 70% of production). GCF owns vineyards in many wine regions of the country — Alsace, Loire Valley, Bordeaux, Beaujolais, and Languedoc-Roussillon. A distinctive feature of GCF is the desire to preserve ancient traditions while combining them with innovations in the world of winemaking. This is achieved through the extensive experience of over 1200 employees. The annual turnover of Les Grands Chais de France is around 700 million euros. The production volume is about 1,000,000 bottles per day.
