Interesting facts
Lanson, Le Black Reserve Brut is a luxurious champagne made from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier grapes. The cuvée also includes 45% reserve wines. The champagne is made using the traditional method with secondary fermentation in the bottle. Interestingly, the Lanson company never carries out malolactic fermentation for its wines. Thanks to this, the champagne's bouquet retains the natural richness of its flavor and aroma, as well as a high level of acidity, which influences the wine's aging potential. The champagne is aged for 5 years.
About the Manufacturer
The Lanson House is one of the oldest Champagne houses in France. It was founded in 1760 by one of the Knights of the Order of Malta—Jean-Baptiste Lanson. This fact explains the presence of the Maltese cross as the coat of arms and symbol of this House. Lanson champagne wines have gained international recognition due to their excellent quality and exceptionally fresh taste. The Lanson House is the official supplier to the English Royal Court.
