About the Manufacturer
Bortolin Angelo Winery is a symbol of excellence on the Valdobbiadene winemaking scene. The family business Bortolin Angelo is known for its high-quality sparkling wines. The winery is located in Guia, the most suitable area for producing sparkling wine in Treviso. Wine has been produced here since 1968, when Angelo Bortolin, the son of a farmer, founded the company, inspired by the picturesque landscapes of the Valdobbiadene hills. Angelo initially focused on investing in the technological equipment of the winery. Since 1983, through the modernization of its facilities, Bortolin Angelo began to specialize in the production of sparkling wines. Since 1993, Angelo's three children (Cristina, Paola, and Desiderio) have begun to participate in the company's activities. The last to join the family business in January 2010 was Desiderio Bortolin as a majority shareholder. Angelo still participates in the company's activities but leaves all decision-making powers to his successors: a strategic move that allows the company to harness the entrepreneurial spirit and ideas of the new generation.
