Interesting facts
Vollereaux, Brut Rose de Saignee, Champagne AOC is a rosé champagne made using Pinot Noir grapes. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the winery, where they are sorted, then pressed and macerated on the skins. The use of the classic method in production provides the wine with fruity and berry tones in taste and aroma. To fully enjoy the champagne, it should be served in champagne or white wine glasses, and the serving temperature should be between 7-10 °C. Properly selected accompanying dishes will help the taste to unfold and highlight all its nuances. The champagne was awarded a gold medal at the "Concours Mondial de Bruxelles" in 2016.
About the Manufacturer
Born into a family of winemakers, Victor Vollereaux moved to Pierry et Moussy after the Great War in 1805. He decided to create his own unique champagne that could win anyone's heart. Thus, the Vollereaux house was born. In 1923, Victor presented the first batch of champagne among friends. The sparkling wines were highly appreciated by his loved ones, and Victor, inspired by the success, continued to experiment. Today, the Vollereaux champagne house is managed by the sixth generation of the family, Frank Vollereaux. The total area of the vineyards is 40 hectares, where three traditional varieties are grown — Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Each stage of champagne production is carried out under the careful supervision of leading specialists.
