Aged for several years, Richebourg Grand Cru becomes synonymous with perfection! Richebourg Grand Cru is produced from Pinot Noir grapes grown on gravel and sandy soils with clay and limestone inclusions, which yield remarkably dense and rich wines with a pronounced character. The age of the vines ranges from 15 to over 70 years. After harvesting, the grapes undergo cold maceration at 15-18 °C and complete destemming. Fermentation occurs at temperatures not exceeding 34 °C, with remontage performed twice daily. The wine is aged for 18 months in new oak barrels of varying toasting levels and from different producers. Richebourg Grand Cru is located in the most prestigious commune of Burgundy, Vosne-Romanée, at an altitude of 260-280 meters above sea level, covering 8.03 hectares. The domain owns 0.6 hectares. Soils: covered with gravel, sand with clay and limestone inclusions. The domain's labels were designed by French sculptor Marie-Paul Deville-Chabrol. The finely drawn portraits of young women are imagined by the artist to convey the character of different wines and terroirs. The sketches are done in sanguine (purple-red pencil), the ochre tones of which resemble the color of Burgundy soils. For their creation, Marie-Paul used the family photo archive, so the drawings easily reveal features of women from the Gros family, including Anne-Françoise herself.
