The Pian delle Vigne estate is located 6 km from Montalcino. In the 19th century, the name "Pian delle Vigne" was used for a railway station located in this area. The estate covers 180 hectares, of which 65 hectares in the southeastern part are vineyards. The soils here are clay, chalky, and stony. The vineyards are planted on slopes at an altitude of 130-200 meters above sea level. Antinori is the oldest winery in Tuscany, producing wine for over 600 years!
