About the Manufacturer
The A.C. company, producing wines under the "Astoria" brand, was founded in 1987 by brothers Paolo and Giorgio Polegato, sons of Vittorio Polegato, who half a century ago became the founder of the now very well-known winery "Antonini Ceresa" (A.C.). Astoria wines are primarily made from grapes grown in their own estate "Val de Brun" in Refrontolo, right in the heart of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene area. In a short time, the brand gained fame for its range and quality of wines, as well as the stylish design of its bottles. In addition to the famous Prosecco, a symbol of Veneto winemaking, the brothers produce sparkling wines from other grape varieties, as well as sweet wines. In 2015, the first certified organic Prosecco appeared in the Astoria range.
