Dense, concentrated, generous, and seductive, with a magnificent silky-cream texture, notes of Mirabelle plum jam, hints of chocolate and citrus fruits bringing a light acidity that is further elongated by slate nuances. In the persistent, clean aftertaste, nuances of chalk and spring flowers play.

"La Grande Annee" is aged under natural cork for at least five years, during which time it acquires excellent taste qualities, elegance, and freshness, for which it has become famous worldwide. Champagne of this level does not need "loud words"; its taste will speak for itself, and its rich history adds a note of intrigue and luxury. Concentrated, generous, and very expressive, "La Grande Annee" Brut, 2015 is champagne from an exceptional year, whose sensory and emotional qualities reflect the theme of the forest and the forest kingdom, a realm that gave the cuvée structure and precision during aging in oak barrels. The winemakers' craftsmanship only contributed to the development of flavor and ensured ideal conditions for maturation. The wine blend consists of harvests from 11 crus, mainly Pinot Noir from Verzy, Aÿ, and Morey-sur-Aÿ, and Chardonnay from Cuis and Avize. Fermentation took place entirely in oak barrels, and bottle aging under natural cork lasted more than twice the time required by appellation rules. The dosage is moderate, 8 grams per liter. Bollinger is elite champagne with an unparalleled image and excellent ratings from experts. The origins of this wine date back to 1650. It was then that the family of Count Hennequin de Villermont arrived in the beautiful town of Aÿ in Champagne — the center of winemaking art. The history of the Bollinger wine house began in 1829, with the significant moment when Admiral Athanase Louis Emmanuel and Placid Bollinger (a descendant of Count Villermont) decided to run a family business together. The family owned excellent vineyards, and the choice of profit was obvious, as sparkling wine was then rapidly gaining respect worldwide. This was the "golden age" of champagne. By 1920, the Bollinger house had reached the level of being one of the best-selling brands in the world, known by millions. The best period of prosperity for the company fell in the mid-twentieth century, when the management of the winery was in the hands of the talented Lily Bollinger, who idealized the taste of wine and perfected it, thereby doubling the sales of her products. The last representative of the dynasty to manage the company was Ghislaine de Montgolfier — the great-great-granddaughter of the founder.
