Intense ruby red with violet highlights.
A generous aroma with dominant notes of ripe dark fruits, spices, and black pepper. Over time, hints of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla emerge in the bouquet.

Interesting facts
The first vintage of the red wine "Santa Cristina" was released in 1946. Its production is distinguished by an unwavering commitment to quality amidst constant innovation. The grapes for this wine are harvested from several vineyards in the central region of Tuscany. The 2020 harvest was carried out approximately ten days later than the previous year. It began with Merlot in the second decade of September, continued with Syrah, and ended with Cabernet and Sangiovese by mid-October. Each variety was vinified separately. After careful selection and gentle crushing, the grapes underwent skin maceration for a week and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. The varieties were then blended, and malolactic fermentation took place. The wine was aged partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks. Bottling took place in May 2021.
