The Bortolin Angelo winery is a symbol of excellence on the Valdobbiadene winemaking scene. The family business Bortolin Angelo is known for high-quality sparkling wines. The winery is located in Guia, the most suitable area for producing sparkling wine in Treviso. Wine has been produced here since 1968, when Angelo Bortolin, the son of a farmer, founded the company, inspired by the picturesque landscapes of the Valdobbiadene hills. Angelo initially focused on investing in the technological equipment of the winery. Since 1983, through the modernization of its facilities, Bortolin Angelo began to specialize in the production of sparkling wines. Since 1993, three of Angelo's children (Cristina, Paola, and Desiderio) have begun to participate in the company's activities. The last to join, in January 2010, was Desiderio Bortolin as the majority shareholder. Angelo still participates in the company's activities but leaves all decision-making powers to his successors: a strategic move that allows the company to harness the entrepreneurial spirit and ideas of the new generation. Desiderio, named after his paternal grandfather, is currently the driving force behind Bortolin Angelo. With the support of his sisters and qualified technical consultants, Desiderio has succeeded in promoting his product in countries that seemed inaccessible. The company's products have received numerous awards at prestigious international competitions, guaranteeing and confirming high quality. Since 2014, the winery has been bottling sparkling wines in a new elegant and original bottle. Bortolin Angelo sparkling wines are widely regarded as the most authentic expression of DOCG Valdobbiadene. In 2013, a new cellar was opened near the winery, created using the latest technologies and respecting the untouched beauty of the landscape, exemplifying the perfect balance between innovation and tradition, as well as a constant pursuit of the highest quality.
