About the Manufacturer
The Champagne house Liebart-Regnier was founded by Lucien Liebart and Georgette Regnier in 1960. From the very beginning, they were independent winemakers producing a small quantity of champagne. Today, winemakers in the eighth generation manage the estate of 11 hectares of vineyards, mainly located in the communes of Vauciennes and Baslieux sous Chatillon. On 35 parcels with a predominance of limestone and clay, all seven permitted Champagne grape varieties are cultivated in various proportions, with the excellent Pinot Meunier setting the tone. The diversity of grape varieties combined with the terroir allows for the creation of unique single-varietal sparkling wines. Laurent Liebart has developed a unique approach to winemaking and has instilled in his daughters an interest in the lunar calendar. Non-chemical fertilizers are used for soil treatment, and work in the fields is carried out according to the phases of the moon. Liebart-Regnier produces high-quality biodynamic and organic wines.
