Interesting facts
Reguta Prosecco is a harmonious white dry sparkling wine made from Glera grapes grown in the Friuli region. The grapes are harvested when they reach optimal ripeness. After careful sorting and pressing, the must is fermented at low temperatures. The finished wine undergoes secondary fermentation in stainless steel tanks using the Charmat-Martinotti method and is bottled. With its delicate acidity and soft fruity flavor, Prosecco is perfect as an aperitif and pairs well with seafood and fish dishes.
About the Manufacturer
The Reguta winery is located in the province of Udine, near the Friulian Riviera, in an area where vines have been cultivated since ancient Roman times. The company has a history dating back to 1928 when Ettore Anselmi decided to establish a small winery, now run by his sons, Giuseppe and Luigi. Ettore was able to pass on his experience and careful approach to the land, which is still applied in the Reguta vineyards. Reguta owns 280 hectares of vineyards located near the coastline. The clay soils, rich in mineral salts, are often breezy and favorable for growing both local grape varieties such as Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, and international varieties like Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, or Cabernet Sauvignon. Reguta is one of the leading producers of Prosecco in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region.
