Interesting facts
The remarkable wine "Villa Antinori" Bianco was first created in 1931 by Niccolò Antinori himself. Since then, not only the label has remained virtually unchanged, but also the philosophy and traditions of winemaking, which captivates with floral aromas and the freshness of ripe fruits. The only thing that has changed is the varietal composition of the blend. In the early years of production, the wine was made only from two grape varieties — Trebbiano and Malvasia. Later, to give the wine greater depth and volume, other grape varieties such as Riesling, Pinot Bianco, and Pinot Grigio were added to the blend. After harvesting, the grapes underwent delicate pressing, and the resulting must was cooled to 18 °C. Then, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature conditions (18 °C). As a result, the 2016 vintage demonstrates a magnificent fresh taste and subtle aroma.
About the Manufacturer
Antinori is the oldest winery in Tuscany, producing wine for over 600 years! Many Antinori wines, thanks to an innovative approach and virtuoso blends, have literally revolutionized the wine market. Most Antinori wines rival the best Bordeaux in their properties, while being favorably distinguished from the latter by their cost. World-renowned wine expert Robert Parker said: "Antinori is undoubtedly the greatest name in Italian winemaking. During the tasting of Antinori wines, the main thing happens — an understanding of the quality of wines is instilled."
