Tormaresca Pietra Bianca Castel del Monte DOC
The wine is bright yellow with a greenish tint.
In the fine, harmonious aroma of the wine, notes of white flowers and exotic fruits are well expressed. They are complemented by fresh balsamic hints of sage and lemon balm, nuances of lily flowers, toasted hazelnuts, and vanilla.
The taste of the wine is fresh, elegant, youthful, with tones of tropical fruits, a light oily note, spicy mineral nuances, well-integrated acidity, and a pleasant finish.
The wine makes a wonderful pair with poultry and fish dishes. It can be served with seafood, light appetizers, salads, and young cheeses.

Interesting facts
"Pietra Bianca" is an organic white wine beautifully combining elegance and richness. The wine blend is created from Chardonnay and Fiano grapes grown in the Boka di Lupo estate in the Apulian region of Murge. A distinctive feature of this region is its "pietra"—stones. The etymology of the word Murge refers to sharp stone or rock and specifically points to the dry stone walls that abound in the countryside. "Pietra Bianca" also refers to the stones that rural farmers break while plowing fields. After being crushed and ground, the stones are pressed into the soil, which helps improve the flavor of the grapes grown there. Rich, complex, yet fresh and pleasant, "Pietra Bianca" shows that Apulia is a region of magnificent white wines.
About the Manufacturer
The Tormaresca winery was established by the Antinori family in 1998 based on two estates: Minervino Murge, located near Bari, and another estate near Brindisi. Tormaresca produces white and red wines that reflect the diverse character of Apulia. The main grape in red wines is the local variety Negroamaro, with a bright aroma of black berries, while whites are produced from Chardonnay, enriching New World traditions with a unique Southern Italian style. Tormaresca wines, with their rich fruity bouquet, have quickly achieved success and widespread recognition. Antinori is the oldest winery in Tuscany, producing wine for over 600 years. The company has its roots in 1385 and is currently managed by the 26th generation of the family—Marquis Piero Antinori. Much of the credit for the quality of Italian wines being among the best in the world goes to his talent as a winemaker and his relentless pursuit of perfection, making the name Antinori synonymous with innovation and quality. Today, Antinori owns several wineries in various regions of Italy, as well as vineyards in Chile, California, and Hungary. The company strives to preserve the uniqueness of the wines characteristic of each locality, with quality and Italian elegance being their main features. Many Antinori wines, thanks to their innovative approach and virtuoso blends, have literally revolutionized the wine market and rival the best Bordeaux wines in quality, while being favorably distinguished from them by their price. World-renowned wine expert Robert Parker stated that: "Antinori is undoubtedly the greatest name in Italian winemaking. During a tasting of Antinori wines, the main thing is to instill an understanding of wine quality."
