Neama Negroamaro is a dry red monovarietal wine made from the eponymous Negroamaro grape, grown in the Salento area of Apulia. The grapes, harvested in mid-September, are pressed, and the must is fermented in steel tanks under temperature control. Aging occurs both in stainless steel tanks and in bottles. As a result, the wine acquires a warm, soft taste with delicate spicy notes, noticeable tannins, and a pleasant, persistent finish.
