Interesting facts
The unique, astonishing sweet sparkling wine "Gran Cuvee De Postre" will captivate even those who generally reject sweet wines. Aged for 30 months in the Gramona cellars, this wine is distinguished not only by its softness and elegance but also by the excellent harmony between moderate sweetness and acidity. In the aroma and taste of the wine, you will sense unusual sherry notes for a sparkling wine, which have emerged thanks to the dosage liqueur aged using the "solera and criadera" method in 19th-century barrels. It is in these barrels that four generations of the Gramona family have aged their wines, sherries, and rums.
About the Manufacturer
The Gramona winery produces world-renowned sparkling wines "cava". The enterprise has existed since 1881, initially producing only still wines, and only in 1921 did it begin producing sparkling wines. Today, the winery successfully combines the experience and traditions of the past with the latest technologies and modern winemaking methods. The harvest is collected only from their own vineyards, allowing for more careful selection of the grapes. The entire team participates in the winemaking process under the careful guidance of the Gramona family. At the end of the 20th century, the winery gained wide recognition as the best winemaking enterprise based on the results of tastings from specialized guides and wine magazines, including the "Gourmet Club 1997", "300 Best Wines of Spain 1997", "Best Wines of Spain 1997", "Golden Guide to Wines of Spain", "50 Best Brut Producers."
