Interesting facts
The dry red wine "Sum" attracts with its soft taste and vibrant palette of fruity and berry notes. It is produced from local Apulian grape Susumaniello, which is one of the ancient varieties known since Roman times. The berries are grown in the Torre Guacheto nature reserve, located on the coast in the province of Brindisi. The old vineyard, rediscovered and restored in 1998, grows on clay-sandy soils of medium depth with limestone subsoils. The harvest is hand-picked in the second half of September. The wine matures for 2-3 months in new oak barrels of large volume.
