For 10 generations, the Bourgeois family has been dedicated to winemaking. In 1950, the Henri Bourgeois estate consisted of 2 hectares; today, his sons have expanded the domain to 65 hectares of vineyards located among the best slopes of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, stretching to the banks of the Loire. Thanks to the excellent climate and chalky, flinty soils, ideal conditions have been created for growing Sauvignon with a mineral character, which is reflected in the wine's refinement and elegance. The Bourgeois family's passion for wine drives them to do their utmost to cultivate exceptional grapes and produce magnificent wine. Through a skillful combination of tradition and modern technology, the Bourgeois estate produces high-quality wines from Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. Aging wines here is often a complex combination of steel and oak: first, the wine ferments and ages for some time in a steel tank, and then it is transferred to barrels, with the maturation process typically lasting 6-12 months.
