Interesting facts
"Bricco Pernice" Barolo is one of the latest wines from Elvio Cogno, named after the rock where partridges nest. The wine is made from Nebbiolo Lampia grapes grown in vineyards located at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level. The Lampia strain is known for its excellent adaptability to various soil types. The grape harvest takes place in October. Vinification is carried out in steel containers at controlled temperatures with post-fermentation maceration lasting 30 days. The wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 30 months and another 18 months in bottles in the winery's cellars.
