Interesting facts

To produce the delightful red wine "Chateau Saint-Florin", local grape varieties are used — Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. After harvesting, the grapes are sent to the winery, where, after destemming, they are pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine has a supple taste and is accessible almost immediately after release.

About the Manufacturer

Château Saint-Florin is located in Soussac, in the eastern part of the Entre-Deux-Mers region. The Château, occupying an area of 80 hectares, has belonged to the Jolivet family for 4 generations. Today, the Château is managed by Jean-Marc and Catherine Jolivet — a dynamic and innovative couple who have modernized and expanded their holdings. They personally participate in every stage of winemaking — from viticulture to final bottling. In 1999, they led, in cooperation with other estates in the region, the construction of water treatment facilities in order to preserve nature. The Château produces three wines — white, red and rosé, which annually become medalists at wine fairs in Paris and Bordeaux.
