Full-bodied, rounded and silky wine, the taste of which develops ripe notes of leather, spices, prunes, raspberries, blackberries and currants. Neat, elegant tannins are complemented by beautifully integrated acidity. The finish is unexpectedly spicy and fresh.
The wine is served with pâtés, sausages, grilled meat dishes, aged cheeses, beef stew, meat ragout, roast meat, pot-roasted meat, rabbit and roasts.

Strong, meaty and lush, it has rather dense tannins. Traditional vinification is followed by aging in oak barrels for 18 months.

The small estate of Chateau La Rose Tremiere covers an area of only 3 hectares. The old plantings are dominated by Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, grown according to the principles of organic farming, which are traditional for this area. The combination of harvests from 2 terroirs with soils consisting of clay, limestone and gravel gives the wines complexity and allows them to combine elegance with finesse. The estate produces a total of 20,000 bottles per year.
