About the Manufacturer
The wines of Château Belles Eaux are a beautiful expression of the local terroir. Almost 60 hectares of the estate's vineyards are planted with Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan varieties. The vineyard is located on a hillside, with sandy, clayey and gravelly soils. The name of the Château refers to the numerous springs with spring water that are located on the territory of the Château. The manor house and the vaulted cellar, built in the 17th century, are the oldest buildings on the estate. Recently, a new winery was built, and modern harvesting and fermentation technologies were introduced, thanks to which the wines of Château Belles Eaux received a new life. Winemaker Cédric Loisier, who has owned the Château since 2002, is also known for his brilliant management of Château Pichon Baron in Pauillac, Château Petit Village in Pomerol and Quinta Noval in the Douro.
