Interesting facts
Sangalgano wine, produced by the monks of the Abbey of San Galgano since 1272, is released in a limited edition of 1900 bottles. This red wine is made from selected organic grapes, 100% Sangiovese. Fermentation occurs with natural yeasts, followed by 12 months in stainless steel tanks, 24 months in small 225-liter oak barrels, and 24 months of bottle aging. The label is crafted from thick cotton paper, hand-cut, with embossing and manual numbering on the back. Packaged in soft paper with an owl logo. Organic cork and premium tin capsule. Complexity and elegance are the main characteristics of this wine, which offers various nuances of aroma and flavor with each sip. It features many notes of black forest berries, peach, tobacco, and chocolate, with soft tannins and a mineral, slightly salty finish.
