Interesting facts
Chateau Palmer, 2015 is an excellent wine of the highest level, receiving the highest ratings from wine critics, including 100 points from James Suckling. Thanks to the perfect phenolic ripeness of the grapes, the vintage has a relatively high alcohol content and a dense tannic structure. The producer believes that the 2015 vintage will match the last great vintages, such as 2010, 2009, and 2005. Generous and rich, this wine possesses incredible density and strength while remaining pure, bright, and refined. The mature, incredibly polished Chateau Palmer 2015 is beautiful even at a young age, considering its elegance and purity, but its peak beauty is expected to occur between 2023 and 2045.
About the Manufacturer
Chateau Palmer is located in the Margaux appellation of the Bordeaux region. The wine produced here is one of fourteen wines that received the classification of Troisiemes Crus in the famous 1885 Médoc wine classification. Moreover, Chateau Palmer wine is considered one of the two most popular wines of this class. In 2004, the shareholders of Chateau Palmer appointed young enologist Thomas Duroux as manager. Duroux already had experience working in California and Italy, and upon returning to his homeland in Bordeaux, he was very excited about the upcoming work. The shareholders asked him to conduct a "quiet" revolution at Chateau Palmer, gradually raising production quality, responding to market demands while maintaining traditions. For Chateau Palmer, this is not the first experience of reforming but another stage in a long process that began long ago and continues to this day. The Grand Cru classification is characterized by both time and space, and Chateau Palmer wines convey the spirit of these places. Soft as silk, refined as velvet, and noble as leather, these wines carry a unique balance of rich aromas and powerful tannins.
